The chipset is what makes the difference, not whether that chipset is integrated or on a discreet card. For example, the chipset was the same (say a TNT2 Pro, for example) and one was an integrated AGP solution and the other was a PCI discreet card, the AGP version will outperform it hands down.

It came from the factory with 96MB RAM and I think it was a 8MB Rage3D card. Since then, I have upgraded his PC to 256MB RAM and replaced the video with my old Voodoo3 video card. Would his machine be able to take advantage of a GeForceMX card? Maybe a GeForce2MX? Of if it is possibkem a CPU upgrade?
